Welcome to Essential Health Physio Shailer Park, a hands-on physiotherapy clinic for Rochedale South families and individuals looking for proper one-on-one care close to home. Our AHPRA-registered physiotherapists take their time, listen carefully, and pair clinical assessment with evidence-based, hands-on treatment to get you moving better.
Whether you’re carrying a stiff neck from desk days, recovering from an operation, or trying to stay one step ahead of a long-standing niggle, we’re here to help you build the strength and confidence to keep doing what matters.
No GP referral needed for a standard private booking. HICAPS, NDIS, DVA, WorkCover and CTP claims all welcome.
Most Rochedale South locals reach the clinic in 8–12 minutes. The easiest run is down Priestdale Road onto the Pacific Motorway and off at the Logan Hyperdome exit; if you’re heading home through Underwood, the same exit drops you almost right at the door. Either way, the clinic sits on the small retail strip on Bulwarna Street, with parking out the front.
From the centre of Rochedale South: roughly 8 km / 9–12 minutes
From Rochedale South State School: roughly 8 km / 10–12 minutes
Coming down from the Priestdale boundary: roughly 6 km / 7–10 minutes
There’s free off-street parking right at the clinic door, so you don’t need to navigate a shopping-centre car park before or after your appointment.
We regularly see clients from across the southern Brisbane and Logan corridor, including Springwood, Daisy Hill, Loganholme, Cornubia, Tanah Merah, Mount Cotton, Underwood, and more.
Physiotherapy is the core of what we do for our clients. Our physiotherapists are university-qualified and AHPRA-registered, with experience across musculoskeletal, post-operative, sports and chronic pain presentations.
Treatment can include:

Whether you need exercise physiology, dietitian services, remedial massage, or women’s health support, we’ve got you covered. We bring multiple allied health services together under one roof, so you get the right support for your recovery.

We take a careful, individualised approach. That means a thorough assessment, an honest explanation of what’s likely going on, and a treatment plan that fits your body, your goals and your day-to-day life; not a one-size-fits-all template.
Initial appointments run for a full hour. That gives us time to:
Follow-up appointments are typically shorter and focus on progressing your plan, fine-tuning exercises, and tracking how you’re tracking.
We work hands-on, but we lean heavily on movement and education too. The goal isn’t to keep you coming back forever — it’s to give you the tools to manage things yourself and stay confident in your body.

Physiotherapy Clinic Near Shailer Park, Logan
Shailer Park is a leafy residential suburb in the City of Logan, sitting around 28 kilometres south of Brisbane’s CBD and just minutes from the Pacific Motorway. Known for its mix of family neighbourhoods, conservation parks and easy access to both Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Shailer Park is one of Logan’s most established and well-connected suburbs. It’s also home to one of Australia’s largest single-storey shopping centres, the Logan Hyperdome, which doubles as a retail, dining and community hub for the wider area.
Outdoor lovers are well looked after in this part of Logan. Just up the road, the Daisy Hill Conservation Park covers hundreds of hectares of bushland with walking and mountain-biking trails, picnic areas, and the family-friendly Daisy Hill Koala Centre — a free Queensland Government education facility where you can see koalas up close. Closer to home, locals enjoy Shailer Pioneer Park for its skate park, tennis courts, basketball facilities and electric BBQs, while Kimberley Forest Park to the north offers shaded bushwalks through one of three reserves stretching from Daisy Hill to Mount Cotton.
The dining scene in and around Shailer Park reflects Logan’s growing food culture. Inside the Hyperdome, The Piazza brings together a strong line-up of cafés and restaurants, while neighbouring Underwood is fast becoming a go-to for foodies — Simply Beans Espresso Bar for coffee and casual food, Holy Hock for Korean classics, and the popular Alien Night Market on weekends. Whether it’s a quick post-appointment coffee or a casual dinner out, you don’t have to travel far.
With its blend of suburban convenience, natural beauty and easy connection to both Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Shailer Park is a great example of what makes the City of Logan tick. It’s also where Essential Health Physio sits — a short drive from Springwood, but firmly part of the wider Logan community.
