Hillary Cheung
Physiotherapist
Hillary's Profile
Hillary is a dedicated and passionate clinician who believes that movement is the key to a vibrant, independent life. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from the University of Queensland, she has developed a diverse clinical background, ranging from chronic disease management, falls prevention, and proactive ageing.
Rather than focusing solely on clinical exercises, Hillary tailors her sessions to functional goals, such as an individual’s occupations, older adults’ recreational and daily activities, and the younger population’s hobbies.
Hillary has a strong passion for paediatric physiotherapy and supporting children/adolescents through their most active, transformative years of growth. Hillary ensures therapy is:
- Purposeful: Directly linked to the child’s personal goals and independence.
- Engaging: Designed to be as enjoyable as it is effective.
- Holistic: Addressing the physical demands of rapid growth and development.
Building strong, trustworthy partnerships is at the heart of Hillary’s practice. She creates a safe, supportive environment where families feel heard and empowered. As a multilingual therapist fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, she takes pride in bridging cultural gaps and providing accessible care to diverse communities.
When she isn’t helping her clients reach new milestones, Hillary stays active through local park runs. She also finds balance in creative pursuits like crocheting and baking, bringing the same patience and attention to detail to her hobbies as she does to her clinical work.
